Mixed Materials - Viraform and Fosshape

Session No. 4

On this session we were free to experiment with materials available. We had sheet of Viraform and Fosshape at our disposal. To shape Viraform, we soaked it in boiling hot water. While to shape Fosshape we needed to use steamer.

To create desired shape I used clay, which then was covered by plastic wrap. Afterwards I used my scraps to mold scissors. For the Fosshape I stretched it around half sphere and rectangular shape. I enjoyed working with Viraform much more than Fosshape, but at the end of the day it was fun to explore different medias and materials!
